Digital Marketing Coordinator

The Digital Marketing Coordinator supports the day-to-day delivery of marketing activity for Jackalope Hotel, Doot Doot Doot, Rare Hare, Rare Hare Wines, Jackalope Spa and Flaggerdoot. This role plays a key part in bringing Jackalope’s distinctive blend of art, design, dining and storytelling to life across digital and physical touchpoints.

Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Content Manager, the Marketing Coordinator assists in executing campaigns, maintaining digital channels, updating brand collateral, responding to daily marketing needs across the business and identifying opportunities to enhance the guest journey and drive revenue.

This is a 12-month parental leave cover role, and for the right candidate, Jackalope is happy to explore either part-time or full-time options.

Duties, responsibilities and deliverables
- Work with the Director of Marketing to support seasonal priorities and commercial objectives across the Jackalope Group.
- Support with the scheduling of social media activity across Jackalope, Doot Doot Doot and Rare Hare channels.
- Manage day-to-day community engagement across owned social platforms, nurturing and growing audiences while maintaining brand tone and consistency.
- Along with the Marketing Team, plan and schedule electronic direct marketing (eDM) communications in line with the approved content calendar.
- Ensure each website displays accurate, up-to-date information and is aligned with brand standards.
- Assist in the preparation of sales decks and on-property marketing collateral.
- Support the Director of Marketing with developing and delivering campaigns that drive accommodation occupancy, restaurant bookings and wine sales.
- Identify opportunities for customer acquisition and growth, contributing executional plans from a digital first perspective.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, analysing performance and ROI across marketing activity.
- Use analytics and insights to support data-driven decision-making and provide recommendations for optimisation.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Director of Marketing.

Key Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in marketing, digital marketing or a related role.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with a passion for hospitality, food and wine.
- Creative capability, including capturing lo-fi content, executing basic design tasks and understanding brand and design principles.
- Solid digital marketing knowledge, including best practice across social media, eDMs and websites.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), social media scheduling tools, Google Analytics and CMS platforms.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with experience using data to inform decisions and reporting.
- A proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage projects and tasks autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Assistant Bar Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to support the leadership of Flaggerdoot and help deliver an exceptional, world-class guest experience.

Working closely with the Bar Manager and Food & Beverage leadership team, you will play a key role in driving service excellence, team performance, and operational consistency in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver exceptional, personalised guest experiences
- Support daily bar operations and service execution
- Assist with stock ordering, inventory management and cost control
- Manage guest requests and resolve service issues promptly

The People and Culture Manager is accountable for leading the full employee lifecycle, fostering a high-performance and values-led culture aligned with a luxury guest experience. This role partners closely with department leaders to drive engagement, capability, compliance, and organisational effectiveness across the hotel.

This role is responsible for leading People & Culture at Jackalope Hotels, with a strong focus on supporting our people, fostering a positive and high-performing workplace, and driving meaningful employee engagement.

You will work closely with the team, providing hands-on support across all areas of HR, from day-to-day operations to broader initiatives, helping our team thrive while maintaining best practice and consistency across the organisation.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a People & Culture or HR Manager role, ideally within hospitality or a service-driven environment.
- Training and development experience, including designing and managing organisation-wide training plans.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply industrial relations legislation and industrial instruments, including Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Experience with HRIS platforms, with Employment Hero preferred.

Event Operations Manager

As Events Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of all events at Jackalope - from intimate private dining experiences to large-scale celebrations. You will lead a high-performing team, working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and the Events Kitchen team to ensure each event is executed to the highest standard.

In addition, you will collaborate closely with the Venue Manager of Doot Doot Doot, supporting operational excellence and consistency in service standards across the property.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a dynamic operator who thrives in a fast-paced, creative, and detail-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Event Operations Leadership
- Lead the planning and execution of all events, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience
- Oversee event logistics including staffing / rosters, floorplans, timelines, stock, and supplier coordination
- Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs to continuously improve delivery
- Act as the on-the-ground leader during events, troubleshooting and ensuring smooth execution
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to bring event concepts to life and exceed client expectations

Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and front-of-house staff

Restaurant Operations Support
- Support the Venue Manager in maintaining service excellence at Doot Doot Doot

- Manage stock control, rostering, payroll inputs, and cost efficiencies
