Positions available:

Rare Hare is one of two restaurants located at Jackalope offering a modern-Australian, European influenced cuisine with a casual service, offering amazing views over Willow Creek Vineyard. Fun, vibrant and a little cheeky!

Doot Doot Doot is our more refined restaurant, merging classical techniques with curiosity, creating playful dishes that pay homage to hero ingredients.

Hotel Dining - we also provide an amazing room service menu for our guests and a bar menu in our premier cocktail lounge

Events - our functions and events utilise our amazing space and views to accommodate weddings, corporate and private dining.

We are looking for experienced Chefs to join our kitchen teams!

The Role

  • Be passionate about our industry, and able to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Able to manage your own busy section within the kitchen
  • Ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked according to the specific restaurant’s requirements
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of the full menu and changing specials
  • A passion to learn and grow within the business
  • Highly adaptable and able to succeed in high-pressure service periods
  • Have a high level of organisational and time management skills
  • Ensure all policies, procedures

The Successful Candidate will

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar qualification a must
  • Proven experience in a busy restaurant for at least 2 years +
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Driver’s License and access to a car
  • WORKING RIGHTS - All candidates must have full working rights within Australia
