Sous Chef

THE ROLE:
We are looking for an energetic and passionate Pastry & Dessert Chef to join our kitchen team within Doot Doot Doot. Set within a progressive, contemporary restaurant, this role would suit someone with a genuine passion to create food that is delicious and exciting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry and dessert preparation, bringing creativity and innovation to our menu.

This permanent, full-time role is essential to delivering exceptional culinary experiences in the hotel restaurant, ensuring that our offerings not only meet but exceed our guests' expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef within a 5-star hotel or similar establishment desirable
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and dessert presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity in dessert design.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills - ability to work closely with other sections as a positive team member.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
